The expunging word “Genocide”
is the ringing conclusion in the Report
on the MMIWG Investigation.
This impressed on me that the report
was written from anger.
But while the report contains factual data
it does not deserve such a hate inspiring conclusion.
It also gives the hint that the author/authors
of this report is very well-versed in a language
other than the English language.
Look, I sympathize with the Natives of Canada as
regards their sad experience in Canadian history.
More so I would apologize for the parents and families
of the native peoples as regards their plight.
This, even though I had nothing to do with it.
But blaming me and the rest of the innocent Canadians
about this “genocide” is wholly and completely abusive
against the integrity of all of us who are not indigenous.
This report, therefore, and the one with the conclusion
of “genocide” changes my sympathies and feelings for the
indigenous people and, as a result, affords me a different
impression of the “survivors of the genocide”.
I am a Canadian, and as such I will apologize for any sad
event in Canada, even if I had nothing to do with the event,
and even if I do not want to apologize for it.
