Joining the ISIS

Maybe we should not believe those we put up as intelligent people putting out intelligent analyses of the reasons why people would like to go over and join the ISIS. Putting these people up on the media is simply plugging a hole in the program.

Maybe we should get someone who recently upped and joined the ISIS. From this way we will get the reasons first hand.

We just might be surprised to fond out that the reasons are not political nor religious, but filial.

The New Fad

And now comes a new fad.

It’s called “Blame-it-on-the terrorists”

Anything unusual that happens all over

is blamed on the terrorists.

This fad supersedes that one called “Blame-it-on-Putin”

Now THAT is progress.

Coming Home

Cpl. Nathan Cirillo comes home.

The Passport Factor

It is understandable why Michael Zehaf-Bibeau ran wild while waiting for his passport application to go through.

There have been some instances that an application is disapproved repeatedly for reasons including an ink smudge on the photo, or an upturned upper lip, or a dot on the photo or something else which could get any applicant’s goat.

The Canadian Passport Office is very much noted for this and will delay the approval of your passport for seemingly mischievous reasons. Such delays may run up to 8 months depending on how long the return mail gets to you.

The case of Michael Zehaf-Bibeau is unfortunate. We may consider his actions as expected, even fated to happen, venting his ire on the establishment which he thought could have solved all his problems.

This is not a terrorist act that he did, and neither did he primarily intend to join the ISIS or whatever.

He simply wants to get away, or get rid of the monkey on his back.

The Canadian Passport Office is an indispensable arm of he Canadian government.

Michael Zehaf-Bibeu does not know exactly where it is located.

The Man that Ran Amuck

Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, a Libyan-Canadian ran amuck.

With a Winchester 30-30 repeater rifle. he shot Nathan Cirillo twice on the back

while the latter was standing guard over the War memorial.

He proceeded to the Parliament Hill where he shot a security guard on the leg.

He was later shot down in a blaze of shots.

He was not a jihadist before this, but was probably intending

to join the jihadists in Libya.

He was a troubled person.

He most probably could not cope

and was in a hurry to do what he intended to do

before he was shot down.

A Lasting Tribube to Cpl. Nathan Cirillo

I would suggest that a figure of stone

made with the likeness of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo

be installed over the spot which he was killed.

This would make him guard the War Memorial

forever and will be one of the two that

 stands  guard before the Memorial.

A fitting tribute to Cpl. Nathan Cirillo.

A Congress of Imams

The attack in Ottawa froze the citizens of Canada,

froze it harder than being froze from winter temperatures.

Canadians have treated the Muslims with fairness and with justice and with understanding.

The Muslims are free to worship the religion of Islam.

What would be the reason why Muslims are radicalized?

It can’t be the Imams who preach them the religion.

It is the notion of martyrdom.

Martyrdom, what for?

There is nobody and nothing which persecutes the Muslims!

It is probably high time that Canadian authorities talk to the Imams,

singly, one by one.

It is probably high time that these Imams form a congress

and discuss what to preach their Muslim parishioners.

It is probably  high time that these mosques are put

under government supervision and regular inspections.

This is Canada, and if one wants himself to be called a Canadian Citizen,

he must act like a Canadian and follow Canadian laws.

Otherwise they should be stripped of their benefits and their rights.

The Imams must preach

that there is no such thing as martyrdom

in these modern times.

There is only such a thing as racial profiling,

on people dressed differently,

and who wear their beards shabbily.

The Attack

The Attack on Parliament Hill.mp4

One soldier and one suspect died in a  Parliament Hill shootings.

Everybody is cautioned not to make biased conclusions.

The US media promptly reports the identity of the dead suspect.

Germany’s BND foreign intelligence agency says a local militia shot down Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine in July, Der Spiegel reports. The BND is said to possess “ample evidence,” though none of it has been made public.

The statement was made on October 8, when Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND) president Gerhard Schindler was holding a secret meeting with members of the parliamentary control committee, the German daily reported on Sunday. He claimed the militia fired a rocket from a BUK defense missile system which it had captured from a Ukrainian base. It then exploded next to the plane, according to the report. “Schindler provided ample evidence to back up his case, including satellite images and diverse photo evidence,” the report added. However, no “evidence” has yet been made public, and the BND has not made any official statements on the matter.

At the same meeting, Schindler reportedly said that certain intelligence on the crash provided by the Ukrainian side was false, adding that “this can be explained in detail.” However, he did not give much credit to Russia’s evidence either. The German Federal Prosecutor’s Office told the newspaper that an investigation has been launched into unknown perpetrators under the possibility that the downing had been a war crime.

First deputy prime minister of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Andrey Purgin, refuted claims made by the German intelligence agency. He told Interfax that Kiev forces could have downed the plane, mistaking it for a spy jet. Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was heading from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it was downed over eastern Ukraine on July 17, killing all 298 passengers and crew. Nearly two-thirds of the passengers were from the Netherlands. The ongoing international probe led by the Dutch has not yet established who the perpetrators were. A preliminary report issued in September said only that the plane crashed as a result of structural damage caused by a “large number of high-energy objects” that struck from outside.

Political analyst Aleksandar Pavic told RT that he believes Berlin is trying to influence the Dutch investigation – the results of which are to be released next year.

“Germany has now the obligation to show the evidence to the official investigation,” he said. “This is like during trial: if you release bits and pieces of evidence before while the trial is still ongoing, you are trying to influence the outcome of the trial.” Russia has been repeatedly denied accusations, mostly from the US, which claim that Moscow was connected to the tragedy in some way or another. The Russian Foreign Ministry has called Washington’s accusations “unsubstantiated innuendos.” The US State Department has accused Russia of firing artillery across the border into Ukrainian territory after the plane crash. “We have new evidence that the Russians intend to deliver heavier and more powerful rocket launchers to the separatist forces in Ukraine, and have evidence that Russia is firing artillery from within Russia to attack Ukrainian military positions,” State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf told reporters during a briefing in July. But she refused to provide any evidence when grilled by an Associated Press reporter. Meanwhile, Moscow has posed a series of questions to the US that have been left unanswered. Russian military officials urged their US colleagues to release satellite images that prove their claims.

“If our US colleagues have imagery from this satellite, they should release it for the international community to examine it in detail. This may be a coincidence, but the US satellite flew over Ukraine at exactly the same time when the Malaysian airliner crashed,” a ministry spokesman said in a July statement.

The US has accused local militia forces of shooting down the plane. However, it has provided little to no evidence in support of such claims. Following the crash, Harf was asked at a press briefing if the US could back up its claims regarding the role of such militias in the tragedy. Harf responded that she “can’t get into the sources and methods behind it” and “can’t tell you what the information is based on.”

In late July, the US State Department released satellite images via email, claiming the pictures acted as “evidence” that Russia was firing rockets at Ukrainian troops across the border. The images were posted on Twitter by the US ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt. Russia’s Defense Ministry said the authenticity of the images was impossible to prove. Meanwhile, Russia has said that its military detected a Ukrainian SU-25 fighter jet gaining height towards the MH17 Boeing on the day of the catastrophe. No explanation was given by Kiev as to why the military plane was flying so close to a passenger aircraft.

(And so is initiated further debates from all sides as to who really downed the MH17. The question is ; will the German intelligence try to prove its findings? Or this is just journalistic sensationalism?)

Wall Street Nosedives

Wall Street stock prices plunge.

Well, I wouldn’t call this a dive.

I would call this as reverting to the right level.

You see the prices got up there thru manipulation.

But the prices won’t remain high that long

if the price level was artificially set.

It would have been noticed that prices kept going up

amidst the exploding international conflicts.

We should have known that in situations such as this

the prices of weapons and munitions are the commodities that will go up,

not food, chemicals, and gold.

The Ebola Solution

The solution to the spread of the Ebola virus has not come up yet as I expected.

Vaccines are being dveloped, but this is the remedy.

Vaccines will, of course, help the world tremendously

in getting rid of the virus.

But the source of contamination should be attacked, too.

I would imagine that Ebola spreads by the water system.

The drinking water is polluted with human waste.

I also imagine that a dollar donation from each

Afro-American will help establish a decent water filtration system

for Africa.

Gout, Not Goat!

I don’t know about what you think, but from what I see, North Korea’s Kim Jong UN is aflicted with gout!

He may be eating too much, like a goat!

Coalition Coillisions

The Coalition against the ISIS is colliding with itself. While every country in the coalition admits the ISIS is a threat, their purposes of beating the ISIS are apart from each other. In this manner, the coalition stops to coalesce.

Iraq fights for its life. Turkey wants immunity from the ISIS. Syria needs the time away from the conflict to breathe. Canada puts out a token gesture. UK wants to regain prestige. THE US wants a stronger influence in the region. Egypt wants to rebuild. Israel is contented to be a protected American baby. Germany wants to be wooed again.

With this situation obtaining,  there falls the much-vaunted international community. Little do they realize that the EU which very much represents the international community is actually in a land mass very much connected to the region in conflict. The EU, however, is very much in collision with its members regarding the question of funding a NATO force which is so boyishly busy preparing the ramparts against a Russian invasion, much less subsidizing the floundering countries within its fold.

In between these lines could be read that if Kobani falls, the one who charges in with the rescuing cavalry would do so only if it be called “liberator”. Otherwise, not on yer life, boy!

If the coalition still does not coalesce, that time will come when the international community will start cheering the Isis very much the same way the “exploits” of the Jesse James gang were applauded.

The Microsoft 2003 PRO

A whole lot of Windows email enthusiasts are in the hunt for the method of successfully loading a full program from this disk, particularly of those who migrated from Windows Xp to Windows 7, or even Windows 8.

Why so? The newer Windows Office 2007 which replaces the Office 2003 just about negated all functions of the Windows email called OUTLOOK and replaced this with the Windows Live mail. This particular email software gradually forces one to get a Microsoft email account, such will not be a good choice should one have more than one computer working at any one time.

So the loyal Windows XP enthusiasts are now forced to look back and reload the Office 2003 which contains the software for Outlook 2003. Naturally, the residual traces of Office 2007 blocks all effort to reload Outlook 2003, and puts out the dialog that the computer is not configured to run the Office 2003 (Office 11). Hence the frantic search for methods to reload Office 2003 (office 11).

They never should have loaded Microsoft Ofiice 2007 (Office 12). This does not work well for me, anyway, I find that the other features EXCEL for one, puts out a more straightforward and hence  simpler operational procedures. What should have been done is to retain the Office 2003 features while converting to the Windows 7 software.

The Windows Easy procedure should have been the choice of OS conversion. Either that or a full clone of the hard disk was made using an external hard drive and a disk cloning software. This retains the full properties of program files and the Registry and the passwords. OR perhaps, reloading the last working Windows XP program and then doing the Windows Easy Transfer would work.

(another tip : your older laptops running Windows 7 may be able to accept Outlook 2003 sotware. I am now posting on a Dell XPS. Toshiba laptops may work with Outlook 2003 on Windows 7. So goes for the older hp’s running HDD’s slower than 7200 rpm. No harm to try…)

Of course, Office 1 on Windows Office 2000 will work on anything.

What to do with the 2007 Office (Office 12)? Don’t load and don’t update. Note that IMO, the 2003 OUTLOOK is the best, most convenient email software that I have been using.

Kobani Kurds Resist Isis

Kobani might fall to ISIS, but the Kurds resist valiantly.

The Turkish Military might get in afterwards and capture Kobani if it falls.

Naturally, the Turks will keep Kobani for themselves if they recapture it.

Strike-anywhere Matches

The ISIS strategy is very much like the emergency matches that can be lit when scratched on any surface—they srtrike anywhere.

To be able to hit targets that many miles apart, the ISIS may either have very mobile units, or they have separate autonomous units all over.

I still say, and am still waiting to see, that carpet bombing is the answer.

ISIS recruitment rely on inspiration about ISIS successes, adventurism, and frustration about the individual financial situation obtaining. The ISIS may also have abundant supply of food and ammunition.

Their military leadership has been tops so far, so much so that drones and air strikes have negligible effect. Perhaps the missiles have neen hitting dummies.

Turkey should have a large air base available, no?

The World in Turmoil

There’s a lot going on in the world today.

It is akin to a Gordian Knot

with not one sword to cut it.

There are solutions to these conflicts

but these solutions are applied in piecemeal fashion.

Europe’s problems stem from disparity and disunity,

whatever that means.

The Middle East problems stem from territory

and the clash of cultures and religion.

The Asian problems stem from poverty

and the feedom to move around unwatched.

Which is the easiest to solve?

The Asian problem,

because this can be negotiated,

if there is no other  party to meddle with the negotiations.
