Hands OFF Hongkong!

China tells Biden to stop meddling with Hongkong and its rights and freedom. It belongs to China, as the British will certify. There is no way Hongkong will secede from China. This may be an autonomous region but it does not have any of the traditions and attitude like those characteristic of Europe.

Americans, they always believe that all peoples live the same way they do.

Listen well, the foreign policies of the present government will not be the single factor that will elect the next president.

The Wooing of China

And so starts the wooing of China.

This country holds the key to just about every country represented in Brussels.

Of course they can only do so much.

Because nobody gave him an engagement ring!

The G7 has the obvious jitters

that they may eventually become the G7

in name only.

Besides, they have yet to serve him Won Ton Soup.

South China Sea

CHINA, South China Sea—I thought I wrote something about these two words in one post—-Hmmmm.

If the remains of the Malaysian plane is difficult to locate, it must have disintegrated.

Sonar in a sub might be more handy in the search.

The question should be to whom can we blame this?

South China Sea, eh?

Where is Snowden?

Where in the world is Edward Snowden?

It probably was a clever ruse to make his escape from Hongkong.

People guess that he is in Russia, Ecuador, China, or in any Latin American country hostile to the United States.

If he ends up either in Russia or China, then Russia would be China’s new trading partner to replace the US which has gradually decreased trade imports from China. Remember also that China might be needing some aircraft carrier parts.

But while everybody is thinking that he would board a plane to escape from Hongkong, he might have just traveled by land. After all, China has  more of the sophisticated installations of the superfast fiber-opticked internet.

This is wistful thinking. But the travel by land is the most secure way of escaping for the moment.

Where in the world is Edward Snowden?

Does one have to follow Carmen Sandiego to find out?

Sunset For The Chinese Communist Party

Beijing Leaders May Announce End of Communist Party Rule

By Li Heming
Epoch Times StaffCreated: May 1, 2012Last Updated: May 1, 2012

According to a high-level source in Beijing, key leaders in the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) Politburo have reached four points of consensus that will be announced on or around the 18th Party Congress. The tenor of the decision is that China will take the path of democracy. The news has been circulated hurriedly in Beijing.

According to the source, the four points of consensus are:

People from all walks of life, political parties, and social organizations should send representatives to form a preparatory committee for a new constitution. They will draft a new constitution that protects the rights of citizens to freely form associations and political parties.

It will be announced that the Chinese Communist Party has finished its historical mission as the ruling party. Party membership will need to be re-registered, with the free choice to re-enter the Party or leave it.

“June 4,” Falun Gong, and all groups who have been wrongly persecuted in the process of devoting themselves to China’s realization of democracy will be redressed and receive compensation.

The military will be nationalized.

The claim from the source cannot be verified, but it is said to be a matter of discussion among high-level leaders. The source also said that a democratic party has already been formed in the Beijing Academy of Sciences, and that over 30 scholars in the Academy have gotten involved in the movement, forming a “Chinese Scientists’ Liberal Democratic Party.”

The four points of consensus are supposed to be announced on or around the 18th Party Congress, according to the source. The congress is supposed to be held this fall, in October or November, though there have been rumors that it will be postponed amidst the current political uncertainty associated with Bo Xilai’s downfall.

Shi Cangshan, an independent China analyst in Washington responded to the news: “The domino effect set off by the Wang Lijun incident is still going on, and the Party’s behind-the-scenes operations are being exposed.”

Shi said that the reason Party leaders would want to announce four consensuses such as the above is to take the initiative on its inevitable decline. “The group that has engaged in these massive persecutions of the Chinese people, including the persecution of Falun Gong, is being exposed, and this is deeply implicated with the demise of the CCP. Better that they take the initiative, which will benefit themselves and the world.”

Taiwan is an Island

What do the Taiwanese think they are doing? Taiwan is an island. No more is it under the protective umbrella of the American 7th Fleet. And the Americans now frown upon outsourcing thru the Chinese.

The best economic partner Taiwan can have is Mainland China. And the best source of professional workers is the Philippines.

Now why would the Taiwanese government start a diplomatic row with the Philippines because the latter deported some alleged Taiwanese to China instead of Taiwan? Their government even demanded an apology from the Philippines.

Heck! The Philippine Government should have asked for an apology from the Taiwanese government instead. These alleged Taiwanese citizens could not present Taiwanese passports. In fact they could not present ANY passport. In such a situation, and since the Interpol and the Chinese government have outstanding alerts and warrants against them, they have to be deported to China. Had the 14 people presented Taiwanese passports, then it would have been a normal procedure to deport them to Taiwan.

It turned out that they had xerox copies of their application for passports, and xerox copies of their passports. XEROX copies, now which country in the world would accept XEROX copies of passports. I daresay that even Taiwan would not recognize XEROX copies of passports as substitutes for the original, standard passports.

But why would the Taiwanese government fight to repatriate and harbor these people whom they know are wanted for international crimes ?

Hey, if this childish act of the Taiwanese government has something to do with the one-china policy, they should take it up with Mainland China and not whine on the Philippines. Don`t let them ask me, because I will just tell them to grow up!

If I start my devilish mind at work on this case, I sure will conclude that the Taiwanese Envoy in the Philippines is actually holding 14 passports belonging to this crime-ridden group!

Why?  Again, don`t ask me—-they vehemently claim that these 14 criminals are theirs,  didn’t they?

The Koreans are restless

The Koreans are on the brink of war, analysts say.

This puts China on the hotseat.

AWSTATS is one company that provides these comprehensive statistics for free. The graphics is good and the tabulation is comprehensive. How do I interpret this stats?

One way is to look at the monthly number of hits from each country, especially the five leading countries. The European Country (eu) comes in as the fifth lowest among the high hitters with 7717 hits on 7303 pages turned and 183 Mb in bandwidth. It appears that each hit views about a page and concentrates on the picture or images. These confederation of countries called the EU started hitting only a month ago. They must have discovered this site from some Filipinos there.

Next comes China (separate stats from Hongkong) with 8343 hits looking at 8247 pages but with the highest bandwidth of 357 Gb. It appears that some viewers come back to look at the same page over. And with 357 Gb, viewers actually download the video clips. A marked increase of about 32 Gb was noticed ever since ironman2.mpg was posted. This video clip is 1.7 Gb long or about 18 downloads. And sure enough, the stats show ironman2.mpg had 17 hits from China.

The United States had 16,429 hits that looked at 4181 pages only and 4.71 Gb bandwidth. It appears that the same page was viewed 4 times over. They must be at the office, opening at the same page on their free time. Or a bunch of them looking at different screens using only one network. They don’t do much downloads, although the topic of America’s Got talent sort of increases the number of hits from them everytime one talent video clip is posted.

Very much the same with the Canadians—18,510 hits to view 4558 pages using 19.98 Gb bandwidth. It appears the Canadians download more video clips when they access their home computers. Canadians do have access to the Bell expressvu that provides GMA-Pinoy Tv on high-definition and also ABS-CBN TFCKo on high depreciation.

The Philippines come in with the highest (it was the lowest on the onset of this website) with 30,326 hits on 2438 pages and at 4.94 Gb. Yup, these viewers look only at the first page, most probably with cell phones that may not be able to turn the page. It appears also that their cell phones are unable to download some video clips because of the cost and the length of time required. Well, maybe if the video clips were converted to cell phone videos, they might be able to capture and enjoy the videos. The question is, which cell phone maker to convert it to? Nokia? Samsung? Sony? Ericsson? Blackberry? or what?

There are other ways to interpret the stats from AWSTATS, and it does give a clear picture of what is being viewed on the blog and from what particular region.
