From the Just Host Control Panel is reflected some crazy turnovers of the leads. The US readers burnt out a 600 hit lead by Canada to come within 200 hits, or a 580 jump in hits on this website. The Philippines did good, too, wiping out a 1400 lead by Canada to come to within 700 hit deficit. The Canadian Lead was brought about by a marked interest on the Ottawa Canada Day Celebrations. Marie-Josee Lord’s rendition of God Save the Queen has now edged Stephen Harper’s speech for the lead. Of course the Americans got interested on this site upon the introduction of the America’s Got Talent video clips.

JUST HOST .com

The last post was my 730th, or 2X365 days. Too bad I missed it by about a month, or it could have been an average of 2 posts per day.

But those were quality posts, nonetheless, so I am still happy.

I am also happy about the host I chose (after trying out two separate establishments). This is the Just Host .com. It is reputed to provide unlimited things an admin would very, very much like to get. Their support is also fantastic. It is a cinch to put up and maintain your own website even if you do not know that much. They will help you all the way.

The stats that I keep blurting out comes from Advanced Web Statistics 6.9. The stats come complete with graphs and comparison stats, very easy to understand.

The format is provided free by Wordpress. The blue and black scheme is what I chose. And so did a lot of other webmasters. The version of WP I am on is 2.84. They have updated this several times to version 3.0.

I am sticking to this old version because they have yet to tell me what is changed in the newer versions. You see, I am wary of updates. The first thing they do is limit the features to what you do not like to have. And also, I am wary of updates like those that tell me to back up my files first before I download the update.

Updates are supposed to benefit the users as well as the authors of the software, eh?
