The new Pope comes from Argentina.
Jorge Cardinal Bergoglio,
may he live long.
I was right in that nobody would guess who the next Pope would be.
What is also surprising is that he took the name of St. Francis of Assissi,
the patron saint of the lowly and downtrodden,
instead of the name of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
Now, if I can guess again, he would follow
the advocacies of Father Arrupe,
the head of the Jesuit order of long ago.

The Falkland Islands will resolve the sovereignty dispute with Great Britain with a referendum.
There are more British nationals in the islands than Argentines.
There is also oil in the Falklands.

(I noticed that after the Falklands War, the best tasting corned beef of the Hereford line, that which is made in Argentina, dissolved from the grocery shelves indefinitely)
