Philippine Politics
The Philippine brand of politics straddles all democratic rules and conventions. It is as if the aim is to test the limits of democracy. more often than not, the laws are “stretched” to its limits, putting much burden on the Supreme Court to “arbitrate” on some particular political cases hitherto unheard of in the whole democratic world.
From all these situations obtaining, justice has been ignored, and the people is left wagging their heads in disappointment.
A change is in the offing, what with a horde of voters registering for the 2010 polls and promising for a change. The whole Filipino nation wants change. How they will do this would be something more than tumultuous.
