Plebiscites

Plebiscites are offered to the public

to determine what the majority wants.

This is like a referendum

only it is made on a localized region.

New Alberta Premier, Jason Kenney;

while he is a favorite politician for the Albertans;

has been very hyperactive in pushing to the rest of Canada

the feelings of his province.

Jason Kenney, and for the other Premiers of like intentions,

should be advised to have separate plebiscite held in their

respective provinces as regards to the legality of the

carbon tax, equalization payments, separation, and etc.

They should remember that the Federal Courts would be

unable to contradict any result of any plebiscite

as long as the decision refers to federal governance and public good.

A plebiscite decision should hold a more forceful

back up for the Premiers than a notwithstanding clause.
