The Kam-Bryer Driveabout

(This post is dedicated to the pilot of the helicopter which hovered on my backyard and then circled around the area five times in succession.)

The Kam-Bryer manhunt is actually a joy ride for the two.

But perhaps there are other reasons

why they are on this driveabout.

Maybe they are in search of possible futureTim Horton respites;

or maybe they are scouting for locations which are not populated

by indigenous peoples who may launch disruptive protests

against the laying down of pipelines;

or maybe they just landed a contract with Nikes

to start the ad for the hiking footwear;

or maybe they are bucking for merits to add to their resumes

for applying to the Canadian paratroops;

or maybe they are collecting data to

complete the manual

 on how to spite the RCMP;

or maybe they are hoping for a grant from the CBC News

for an interview with Rosie Barton.

Whatever their reasons are for this driveabout,

the RCMP has yet to state the evidence

to declare this driveabout a manhunt.

Canada-Wide Manhunt

McLeod and Shmegelsky

strike me as smart and deceptive young guys.

Otherwise they would have been caught by now

what with all the forces thrown on this manhunt.

But maybe the public has not provided all the help it could

simply because the RCMP has held back some important

info that they should not.

To name some : the manner by which the victims were murdered

was not provided,

The evidence by which the police decided that the two were

the suspects.

Some items which may conclude on the motive for the slayings.

If the objects of the manhunt realize thay they can

readily prove their innocence

they might just give up and surrender to the nearest

police station(not gas station).

After all,

they are still mere suspects, right?

Meantime, were I a fugitive like them,

I would stick close to water

and head back towards my hometown

where I can get more friends to help

and where I know the terrain well.

I would also conserve my cell phone batteries

and the forest will provide food.

I will give up my gas tank siphoning equipment,

Climb trees and travel only at night—

Alberta woods provide the best cover and sustenance.

I may even apply there for candidacy on the next elections.

UK Tanker on Hit-And-Run

(You will please ignore this post if you must. Frankly I di not have the way to verify the past events. Just treat the story as a fairy tale.)

A few days ago, the UK sent another warshipto the Strait to watch over the British tankers hauling oil. Then comes a drone supposedly Iranian and downed by the Americans.

Now comes a British tanker speeding off after allegedly hitting a fishing boat. One Iranian patrol boat hails it and requests the British captain do an about face and turn back for security inspection. The British captain refused to do so claiming his ship is on international waters and may not be stopped for anything. Now what would the Iranians hope to discover after they boarded the ship?

I will guess—No receipt for the oil purchase can be shown; or the captain has no license to qualify him and the ship to ferry oil from Iran; the cargo is not oil; or the ship must be hauling the downed drone which is a British property.

Whatever the Iranians will find, the British captain must stop even if his ship is in international waters if he commits a misdemeanor such as hit-and-run or non-payment of cargo, or if he and his ship presents a security risk to just about anybody.

The Iranians say the stopping is not a challenge to the British tanker’s rights. This is emphasized by the Iranian patrol boat by not firing a warning shot across the bow.

When will the British realize that the Galleon Trade is over eons ago and that profit by sea is not acceptable anymore.

But why was the British tanker in a hurry to get away?

Denis Matsuev

Rachmaninoff Piano Concert0 No. 2

Playing Rachmaninoff in St Petersburg is Dennis Matsuev.

The first amazing item I noticed in him was his fingers.

It is traditional for concert pianists to have noticeably long fingers

to enable them to span the distance between

two ivory keys with ease.

Matsuev  have  short and stubby fingers

which may have been responsible for his inability

to sustain notes a trifle longer.

As a result, some passages which require romantic expressions

turn out to be a bit hurried

as if whispering sweet nothings to the object of romance

become hurried and spiritless enterprise.

This catastrophe is well displayed in the second movement.

In composition, the second movement

is where the conversation between the audience and the pianist is initiated.

When started, the pianist must hold the audience in rapture towards

the third movement, or the recapitulation.

Denis missed this cue but preferred instead

to wow his audience with technical prowess.

And this he did with his flying fingers.

It sometimes appeared

that his fingers move faster than the eye could follow.

Still, I miss the romantic rapture

that this concerto is supposedly endowed with.

Incidentally, from the Third Movement

is where the theme for the song

“Full Moon and Empty Arms” is derived.

Probably Denis would perform his best

if he plays the compositions of Franz Liszt

such as the Hungarian Rhapsodies or the Etudes,

but not, of course,

the “Un Suspiro” nor the “Consolation No. 3”

These pieces are for the desperately romantics.

Iranian Drone Downed

If my intuition still serves me right

the drone is not Iranian,

It was most probably an American drone

controlled by an American

and downed by an American  cruiser,

Another guess is that it was

a UK drone.

The  provocations to initiate conflict

and prove that it rules the world

are bordering on the ridiculous,

turning the United States from a sanction bully

to the fake news  pest,

so much so that the rest of the world

have  started the search for both

Trump vaccines and Trump pesticides.

Let us therefore have a look-see

at what the downed drone looks like.

(it must be a drone.

they wouldn’t use a Gatling gun to down a kite!

or would they?)
